I've been meaning to write you to tell you THANK YOU!

I was waiting to tell you the minute I made it to my second trimester. Our first IVF cycle was successful!!! At our 12 week sonogram, the baby was measuring right on target and the doctor seems to think there is nothing I should worry about. 

I just wanted to let you know, I really believe your support was instrumental in the successful IVF. With the acupuncture and herbal teas, I saw the difference in my cycles prior to the IVF. With my PCOS, I normally had painful cycles with clotting and dark red blood; however within 2 cycles, my cramps disappeared along with the clotting, not to mention the nice bright red blood. I still remember you explaining to me that the lining needs to be full of oxygen for implantation to occur!

Also, during the IVF, I was never moody or hormonal, and I was able to remain relaxed throughout the entire cycle. I really didn't have any side effects of the fertility drugs, Lupron and Gonal-f. My husband was expecting the worst to come out of me with all the drugs, but I surprised him.
