Natural Pregnancy After Two Failed IVFs
Our journey with infertility began in 2003 when I was diagnosed with a Fibroid, which was then surgically removed. After trying naturally for an year we decided to consult an infertility specialist. We went to one of the best infertility specialist in the DFW area where I was asked to undergo Laproscopy for Endometriosis on my ovary. After undergoing the laproscopy we resumed fertility treatments in 2006. I underwent 2 rounds of Clomid, 2 rounds of IUI. All of these failed and I was told our best chance was IVF. We underwent 2 rounds of IVF which failed too, when I was told that my best chance for pregnancy was donor eggs as the quality of eggs for IVF was not good. By this time we had lost faith in the modern fertility treatments and decided to try Accupuncture. After doing some research we decided to try Dr. Zhou's practice as she specialized in infertility treatments. Dr. Zhou did 3 months of treatment on me- both Accupuncture and TCM. At the begining of 4th month Dr. Zhou asked us to start trying for baby but warned us that because of my complex medical history she may need to give me another 3-4 months of treatment. But at the end of the 4th month to everyone's surprise I was pregnant. We had a healthy baby boy in 2008 and would recommend Dr. Zhou to anyone with infertility problems. I wish I had known about Accupucture and Dr. Zhou before I underwent all those expensive and time-consuming infertility treatments but hope that others would learn from my story. -PL
